After discovering many different cool effects from www.http://www.videocopilot.net/tutorials/ we decided to practise some effects because we wanted to use some of these effects in the movie trailer which we were going to make. One of the effects which really caught my eyes was the sub surface skin effect which adopted from the iron man movie.

 

 

 

 

We watched the tutorial which was 20 minutes long however it was very helpful because we could follow the tutorial step by step. It wasn't easy following the tutorial and trying to follow the same steps. Although the tutorial was 20 minutes long, it took us 2 hours and 30 minutes to re-create the same effect.

 

Whilst following the steps of the tutorial, we recorded the screen using quicktime player therefore this meant we could watch our step and also use this as a tutorial for others.
