Split Screen effect
The split screen effect is visible division in the screen. Traditionally, it is often 2 split screen however over the years people have chosen to have more than 2 split screens. Some editors also choose to add borders however i believe that it is look more effective when a border isn't added.
This effect is often used in many movies to show two different events happening at the same time such as Kill Bill.
Kill Bill split screen
We decide to play around the with split screen effect by adding 4 different videos of someone dancing in different locations. We also added a song in order to make the video look more realistic. The video we re-created is a type of video is used in many different music videos as well as films too.
We edited the whole video on premier pro adding 4 different videos into one screen and then cropping the video in order to position them next to one another.
