The Green screen is also known as a Blue screen depending on what colour you use is a technique which is used to create a background effect for film makers. The screen itself is portable and relatively cheap as a green cloth can be used for this.

 

However, an editing software such as Premier Pro, Final cut or Imovie is required in order to edit or put together the screen with a clip or an audio.

 

The image i have added on the left shows a green screen. This typically how a screen green would look and an object or person would be infront of the green screen. Eventually when edited the green screen would turn into a background.
